What is N.U.T.S. Stack?
N.U.T.S. Stack is a platform dedicated to practical insights, moderate perspectives, and real-world experience on business, veterans' issues, and society. It is a place where thoughtful analysis replaces partisan noise, and where reason and resilience lead the way toward meaningful solutions.
Originally launched as Purpose and Practice, this platform was built on the idea that practical wisdom and level-headed discussion are essential to navigating today’s challenges. While the mission remains unchanged, the urgency of the moment has demanded a rebranding—one that is more representative of the times and serves as a true call to action.
Why N.U.T.S.?
The name N.U.T.S. stands for National Unity Through Sanity—a recognition that before we can solve our greatest challenges, we must first return to a foundation of rationality, balance, and clear-headed discourse. Without sanity, there is no unity, and without unity, solutions become impossible.
But N.U.T.S. also carries a deeper meaning—one rooted in grit, determination, and an unyielding refusal to surrender. During the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944, when the 101st Airborne Division was surrounded in Bastogne, the German forces demanded their surrender. Brigadier General Anthony McAuliffe sent back a one-word reply:
“NUTS.”
That moment became legendary—not just as a symbol of military resolve, but as a testament to the power of unyielding principles in the face of overwhelming pressure. Like an oak tree standing strong in the storm, that moment in history reminds us that there are times when we must stand firm, hold our ground, and refuse to cave to fear, division, and irrationality.
A Mission of Optimism and Resilience
Our mission is to reclaim patriotism, religion/spirituality, and capitalism/free enterprise from those who claim a monopoly on them. These are not the exclusive domain of a select few—they are shared American values that belong to all of us. As a people and as a community, we are committed to solving our nation's challenges in a fair, pragmatic, and practical manner, ensuring that these fundamental ideals serve the common good rather than division.

Our Commitment
The color scheme—black, gray, and gold—is inspired by my alma mater, The United States Military Academy at West Point, where the principles of duty, honor, and country shaped the foundation of this effort. But this mission extends beyond military service to a broader calling: defending the common good and protecting the rights and freedoms that define us as Americans.
Through N.U.T.S., we aim to foster clear thinking, thoughtful dialogue, and actionable solutions—a place where practical insights, real-world experience, and moderate perspectives lead the way forward.
This is more than a newsletter. It is a movement—one that pushes back against the noise and extremism clouding our national conversation and instead champions reason, unity, and resilience.
